Which power bank is allowed on the plane?

According to the guidelines of the IATA, the International Air Transport Association, it is allowed to take a power bank with a maximum of 27,000 mAh or 100W on the plane.

Power banks are prohibited in the hold baggage. The battery of a power bank contains the flammable material lithium, which is risky in the hold of the aircraft. Therefore, it is only allowed to take power banks in your hand luggage.

Tip: Make sure you have (the information about) the power bank with you at the airport. By having the information about the powerbank, such as the manual, it will limit the chances of not being allowed to take the power bank on board at the security check. How do I know if my power bank meets the  requirements?

Each power bank has a certain capacity. This is expressed in milliampere-hours (mAh) or watt-hours (Wh). The capacity of your power bank is probably expressed in mAh.
