Spring has sprung and spring cleaning has begun! If you are cleaning your fine custom cabinetry this season please keep the following suggestions in mind.
Please Do:
-Treat your cabinets as you would your fine furniture.
-Use a soft microfiber cloth to dry dust your cabinetry.
-When necessary, dampen a microfiber cloth to clean your cabinetry. Always dry the cabinet right after wiping down.
-When a spill occurs, clean it immediately, paying special attention to the edge and bottoms of drawer fronts.
Please Don’t:
-Use any harsh or abrasive chemicals on your cabinets.
-Use a cloth that has previously been used with other cleaning products without being thoroughly rinsed out.
-Wax your cabinets, as it risks ruining the finish.
-Allow any other kitchen or bathroom cleaners (oven cleaner, harsh detergents, scouring pads, steel wool, ect.) to come in contact with your cabinets.
-Rub sharp edges of doors and drawer fronts.
If You Have A High Gloss Finish:
-Clean cabinets infrequently with a damp microfiber cloth, and allow them to air dry.
-Do Not use paper towels, brushes, glass cleaner, wax or oil polish on these finishes. Over time these items will create microscopic scratches in the finish creating a dull hazy or smudged look.
If You Have Stainless Steel:
-Clean with a microfiber cloth and water.
-Dry immediately with a towel or microfiber cloth.
-Fingerprints can also be removed with your microfiber cloth.
-Do Not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool as these will scratch the finish.
